What: A producers only market (i.e. the sellers are the farmers)where you can buy fruits, veggies, meats, breads, cheeses & more directly from the people that made/raised them.
Where: the middle of the south side of the 600 block of H Street
When: Saturday from 9am-12pm
Live plants are among the items on offer at the farmers market.

Today's Washington Business Journal has an article about the sale of the office buildings at 6th and H Street NE. Apparently Washington Real Estate Partners paid $42 million for the piece and plan a mixed use project w/ 234 residential units, 500 parking spaces and ground floor retail. This is good news for that section of H Street!
