Test Your H Street Recall
Name the businesses that live in these buildings. 2 rules:
1. No using A9, or any photo databases/apps to get the answer.
2. If you want to walk, or drive H Street to get the answer, that is fine, but you have to admit to it (& any answers obtained [other than by accident] by walking/driving can't be posted until tomorrow morning).
3. The top photo only requires one name, but you've got to give both names for the bottom photo (the blue should make it easy).
Please specify in your answer whether you are referring to the top photo, ot the bottom one.
Good luck!

Great idea inked- I was thinking that as an offshoot of your trivia contest here- somone could organize a H Street/Farmer's market business centric business scavenger hunt starting and ending at one of the new bars some weekend afternoon- or something along those lines. Call me crazy...but I have no idea what some of those places sell. Thankfully we have you to turn us on to the Ohio and A. Litteri's etc- but maybe as a community we can take it further.
I can't think of anything that's blue like that other than the Rock n Roll Hotel...yet the blue looks too light...
I believe it's in the 700 block of H St...but I cannot picture the store below. Will have to see while waiting for the X2 tomorrow.
Blue building must be Birdland. Not sure about the others.
Not Birdland & not Rock & Roll Hotel (the front is flat). I won't say if Klav is closer because I don't want to steer anyone towards, or away from any particular block (i.e. narrow the field).
I rode my bike to work today. My wife--Kara at the X2 bus stop--gets the credit for this one.
Both buildings are on the south side of the 700 block of H Street. The blue building is "Fashion Planet...where fashion costs less."
The other building is "Alex Seafood Carryout."
Very good Klav. So what is the top photo? Anyone? By the way, isn't that Fashion Planet thing catchy? I can't even say Fashion Planet outloud without adding "where fashion costs less."
Is the top one Kings Beauty Supply? I happened to notice it while on the mighty, mighty X2 last week.
