hmmm.No editors at the Voice of the Hill? No sources are listed for the rumors of drug dealing at the Ohio. Pretty low blow for some one who can't defend herself. I hope her family sues their azzzes.

yes, i was surprised to see that as well. the street corner in front of the ohio has quite the colorful crowd, but the staff have no control over that. the yuppies at voice of the hill are a little out of their element writing about a place like that, I guess. had anyone else heard that the ohio was being sold?

I was going to ask what the status of the Ohio is. My girlfriend and I move into the neighborhood next week; we tried to go over to the Ohio and eat last Friday night but it was closed . . .

I knew it was on the market, but I didn't previously hear that it had actually sold. Makes me a bit apprehensive. I suppose most of us like to root for the underdog, and the Ohio is one that has made some pretty significant gains. I hope the new owners keep a diner. As for the status, this is a tough call because of the shooting, and the apparent sale. I don't have an answer yet, but I'll post it once I hear something.

I liked the Ohio. The service at times could be slightly spotty but they were trying hard and apologetic when they screwed up. Plus, in this day of homeogenized sameness, they really are a unique place with loads of personality.

I wish them well and I hope that the new owners continue to improve the place and keep the chef since he really is pretty good.
