Excellent. I'm sure the Pug will have the Pogues' "Peace & Love" on their jukebox...looking fwd to playing it.

I'm excited to hear about Sticky Rice!

That was my favorite hangout in Richmond.

What we are getting is yet another themed bar. yep, you can play while you drink, but never the less, it isn't a restaurant, where the attraction is the food. people are so glad to get rid of Phish Tea that they will accept anything...don't forget folks that that very nice Joe Englert can sell the H street County Club at any time, and the new owner will have even fewer restictions on noise than Phish Tea.

I love all the new places on H Street, but anon. is right, where do you go for good food on H Street (please don't tell me the Argonaut or Horace and Dicky's!)? I understand that H Street is still evolving and apparently we haven't reached the evolutional period that will bring some truly delicious food. Hopefully, 2007 will be the year of (affordable) culinary delights coming H Street.

I've got to say that I believe that the present (and expected) food options seem appropriate for the stage in the development. If I were to open a restaurant today, I would want to make sure that there was an existing clientele - while keep an eye on demographic shifts. Give the fois gras a few years

fois gras!? I'd just be happy with some decent pizza by the slice! Not sure, but I'm pretty sure H St. has a demographic for that - especially when we leave the bars/clubs at night...choices are dismal. But I could be wrong...anyone out there searching for fois gras after the Rock and Roll Hotel closes at the end of the night?

I noticed the Red & the Black has something called "'FAT TUESDAYS PHAT HAIRCUT AND A SHOT !!'" Can anyone give me some more information about this?

Personally, I think Citipizza is awesome. However, not sure if they sell by the slice. I always get it delivery.

While it's not likely to merit mention in the Post's dining section, Crown Fried Chicken is a force to be reckoned with. Preferably on your way home from the bars.
