On a different subject.....I think CitiPizza closed down. For the first time that I can remember their "OPEN" sign was not lit up and when I called their phone number, it had been disconnected.
as much as I like Al's on E. Capitol- I was a big CitiPizza fan. This is a bummer. Anyone want to go in w/ me and open a great little pizzeria? I make a mean crust and have about a $30 savings to start it with...
Seriously though- with all the nightlife and such-in addition to the fact that everyone likes pizza-H street could totally support a decent sit-down place. I don't think lack of business is what shut those guys down if this is true.
Yes, that is Joe Cole. It actually won an AIA award in the early 1980s. It has no windows except for the openings around the doors (some are porthole style).
We had Citi Pizza two weekends ago...I've got to check into this...I like that place. We've also ordered from a place in Brookland...the delivery guy was so polite he called and asked if it was ok to come to the door. Either that or he was afraid ha ha.

Is that the rec center that looks like a castle or a prison?
On to Pizza, I think Pizza Boli's is the best that will deliver to our area.

Damn it. I think Pet Dreams closed too. It is one store way from CitiPizza.
