why are they focusing on "the future" ?

shouldn't they be talking about the direction of the program?

or is the future in jeopardy?

They are looking at the current status and the future. I try to keep headlines short, so it only says future, but the title of the roundtable is "The Status and Future of the Main Streets Program."
