Do you know if there are any other plans to hold meetings like this, so those of us that aren't yet home from work by 6 (6??!?!) can attend?

I've not heard of any. But, since it is a 2 hour meeting maybe you can catch part of it and pick up any materials that they distribute. But yeah, I know of a commissioner around here who holds meetings at 5:30pm on Fridays.

At the risk of repetition, that is one ugly building. Very soviet, mixed with perhaps some late 70s American Public Housing. If this goes up as planned it'll be an eyesore for the next 40 years.

I agree with Hillman.

Kind of ugly.

i was there and got to ask my two questions. they really should have had more substantive data on what revenue the farmer's market brings to the city as is and what revenue any proposed new developments would bring to the city. also, i wanted to ask if it were possible to integrate the current market into an artist's loft type scenario. an avant garde painter or a band using their studio as living/practice space would be way less adverse to industrial noise than a yuppie.
