The inhabitants of Parker Street do. Take some inspiration from this container garden.

Great shots from Alan! And definitely a good suggestion for those of us in condos/apartments or townhouses without lawns.

Thanks, Mike. My neighbor has added 2-3 more pots of beautiful flowers since I took the pictures. FYI, the pots on the right are beginning to sprout the veggies my wife planted.

What did you plant? My wife and I are getting ready to do our railing boxes (mostly herbs and some small flowers) and a few large planters on our deck, and some veggies would be great!

aiuijzcuWe drove by Parker Street on Sunday and saw the young lady planting these flowers.

It looks as good in real life as it does in the picture.

I think I want to buy a house on Parker Street. Does anyone know what the asking price is for the single house for sale on Parker?

Mike, we planted a "salad mix" of lettuce, beans, tomatoes, zucchini, cucumbers, radishes and jalepeno peppers. We grabbed a selection

Anon, the asking price for the house on Parker is $369,000--I think there is an offer, but not sure.

I wish you luck w/ the salad mix...the squirrels around here seem to love tomato plants. This is a good post...inspires me to increase the number of big pots I have outside.

Re: Prices of homes for sale on Parker

I recently went to an open house for a cool little 2bd,1.5ba rowhome, 225 Parker St NE.

It was listed at $369,900 and seems to have sold in a week! It is under contract and the sale price is not out yet, but I suspect it will be at or above asking due to the quick sale.
