Hi, is the time right? For some reason I had it in my calendar as starting at 2pm. This time slot conflicts with the PSA meeting.
This time is correct. The ending time was either going to be 1pm or 2pm, and it looks like they are shooting for 1pm to wrap up.
so, do they provide the trees? i want to do this.
Yes, the trees came from Casey Trees.
But the trees are for planting at the Rec (not for taking home and planting). The location for each of the trees was set quite a while back.
oh, i know the trees aren't for people to take away, i just wanted to make sure i wasn't expected to bring a tree with me to plant (as implausible as that sounds, but you never know if you don't ask! would be funny if i got there and everyone was holding a tree looking at me like "what's this guy here for and where's his tree?" LOL)
As of December 2008, most of the trees that were planted at Cole Recreation Center on April 21, 2007 had been removed. Casey Trees said they would look into it but followed up.
correction: "Casey Trees said they would look into it but followed up."
Casey Trees said they would look into it but NEVER followed up.
