That meeting was interesting. They needed to do some kind of disclaimer up front to draw a line between them (the Office of Planning), the council, developers...people there were asking questions (and sometimes getting answers) that made it sound like all those entities were in cahoots and aiming to redevelop the market. As for the conceptual plan they came up with, it's nice, I thought.
No the conceptual plan is something the Office of Planning came up with. As far as I can tell it's a recommendation to the city government as to what the best uses of the land would be based on the preferences expressed by members of the community.
