Search Continues For Hit-&-Run Driver

The MPD has posted surveillance camera images of the SUV believed to have hit
and killed 6-year-old Crysta Spencer (and then fled the scene) at 6th Street and Orleans April 23. There is currently a reward of up to $10,000 for information about the driver.

    There's a bit in the WP today about pedestrian safety. Talks about and has a link to the Pedestrian Master Plan and also a link to a pedestrian crash map.

    I hope the driver gets caught because of the security camera and that gets publicized...maybe people will think twice before speeding in our streets.
