Avenue Checker's following an incident where a patron was raped soon after leaving the Checkers (she encountered her attackers at the Checker's and the subsequently followed her). Another couple was recently attacked by a group of assailants after the man declined to give money to another patron, and there are questions about when the Checker's employees called 911.
