Check out this recent Post story on the sale of the Hecht's warehouse (big news) on New York Ave.

with two huge mixed use sites going up blocks from each other, and the strip clubs relocating right in between, maybe we can establish a solid customer base for the strippers.
heck, maybe they could rent out some of the space in those places to directly serve the customer base.
We can joke condos all we want, but a nice mixed use would be great here. Some office, lots of retail, some residential. That combination would be the best for the neighborhood as a whole. If you have no one living in this area at night, then you have desolate, crime-ridden streets. Sortof like what's there now.

this town is just chock full of opportunity!
Well, I guess a shining corporate cube with no groundfloor retail is better than an abandoned warehouse, but not by much.
At least it's not more overpriced condos.
uh... sorry to dissapoint.
the plans do include some residential, but likely it's going to be built on the side of the warehouse.
that was part of the deal when patriot was working out some of the financing/leveraging.
