WP: Indictments for Luxury Car Theft Ring

I received an email alerting me to the significance of this article that I had initially skipped reading. The local tie-in is to a man named Francis Kamara, who allegedly played a key role in the ring. Mr. Kamara, who owned a car lot located in the 1100 block of Bladensburg Road, was murdered the night before Christmas of 2005. At the time police called the killing part of a botched robbery. Now, they say they do not know if his killing may have been related to the illegal car ring.
