The D.C. Office of Planning (OP) invites property and business
owners within the Florida Avenue Market, neighborhood residents and
stakeholders around the Market area to attend this workshop as we
kick off phase two of the Florida Avenue Market Study. These two
meetings will cover the same information. Please attend whichever
is more convenient.
Our goal is to:
Provide an update on where we are in the planning process
Discuss how we will complete Phase Two of the small area plan for
the Florida Avenue Market

Which vendor at the market is in that photo?
That photo was taken in the fish room at MS 3000. MS 3000, formerly Kang's Farm, is similar to a grocery store. If you plan to purchase fish there, I suggest that you go early in the week.
yeah, and also, chris, make sure you wear your birkenstocks.
I remember MS 3000 from the tour, but don't remember the fish room for some reason. Weird.
Don't get the Birkenstock comment, but it's probably just me being slow today.
Chris, that's probably bk the tour was on Saturday and the fish room can be a bit stinky on Saturdays as the store doesn't get in fresh fish because it is closed on Sundays. So sometimes we just point to the fish room, rather than actually going in there. But the room is straight back once you are in the store.
Not sure about the birkenstock comment, except that they have certain connotations (which I think is the joke here). Personally, I don't think I'd opt for the open-toed shoes in certain areas of the market.
