Naby's Island to Open September 15th
They'll have music, door prizes and more (including a chance to win a cruise if you spend $20 or more). My understanding is that Naby's will be a sitdown restaurant serving inexpensive Caribbean fare. Check out their website for more details.

Hi, thanks for the info. Your link to their web site is broken...right now it points to "http://www.blogger.com/www.nabysislandrestaurant.com"
I'm impressed that they're planning to serve Ackee & Saltfish. I hope they have someone to make sure the ackee isn't overripe; otherwise, they'll have some sick customers!
The grand opening was a huge success! Congratulations to Andrew, Angie, Marlon, Monique, Chef Tishi & Mom Martin. May God continue to bless this venture.
I also attended the grand opening and I was very impressed. The service was execellent. I had the curry shrimp, peas and rice and meat patties. All were tasty, but I especially enjoyed the meat patties. They've got to be the best I've tasted outside of Jamaica.

Finally! I can get my curried goat closeby!
Thanks for the heads up Rob. It's fixed now.
The grand opening should work well with H street Festival. I hope that they are really prepared for a lot of business.

My favorite part of their menu:
BEEF ENTREES
Oxtail
Curried Goat
Hmm...
Jerk chicken , curried shrimp, and rice peas. Yum!!
