I've heard reports of two incidents early this morning (between 1am and 3am) on Holbrook Street. The first report involves actual discharges of a gun on Holbrook, and in the second incident an individual walked down the street brandishing a gun. I haven't heard of any arrest, and they may be unlikely since police response time was reportedly slow. This is the third incident of multiple shots being discharged in a little over a week in the surrounding streets.
The rumor is that a well known group from 16th Street (located just north of Oates and west of Bladensburg) is beefing with some thugs who recently moved to Staples Street. I can't confirm that, but it's what I'm hearing.
This is located in Trinidad.

A 30 year old male was shot in the leg Sunday morning and at least two cars had windows shattered.

Interesting. There have been several shootings and reports of gunshots in Rosedale area as well over the past couple of weeks. Don't know if there is a connection.

If the cops do make a bust and calm this situation down we need to make sure they know we appreciate it. If they don't we gotta keep on 'em :-)
