Horrifying. I know this isn't the cause of this particular fire, but folks out there with old wiring in your row homes, there's a new type of breaker available...it shuts down when it senses an electrical arc on the circuit. This is different than a GFC breaker. Could save lives & property in the case of an old wire arcing.
