This FREE limited advice clinic will allow individuals to discuss legal issues, including legal issues about having a pet. Some of the topics that people can learn more about are:

* HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF IF YOU BECOME SERIOUSLY ILL
* HOW TO FILE FOR BANKRUPTCY
* RENTING A BASEMENT APARTMENT
* HOW TO AVOID MORTGAGE AND HOME IMPROVEMENT SCAMS
* LOW INCOME TAX CREDITS AND SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
* LOW INCOME SUBSIDY PROGRAMS SUCH AS MEDICAID
* HOW TO PROVIDE FOR YOUR PET AFTER YOUR DEATH
* D.C. LAWS ABOUT CRUELTY AND NEGLECT OF ANIMALS
* D.C. LAWS FOR PET OWNERS, SUCH AS LICENSES, LEASHING, ETC.
The Washington Humane Society Mobile Adoption Center will be in the church parking lot to talk about how to adopt a dog or cat!
