Baby Loves Disco @RnR Hotel

I'm assuming that this new event at the Rock and Roll Hotel is the reason for all the strollers outside the Rock and Roll Hotel this weekend. Here's the info from the Hotel's website-
Baby Loves Disco

  • ALL Walking Humans MUST buy a ticket. It's the Crawlers who get in free!

  • This event is for kids AGES 6 MONTHS TO 7 YEARS and their friends and family.

  • No kid? No entry! No exceptions!
  • Doors | 1230pm Event | 1pm-4pm

  • SOLD OUT

For more info on the apparently very popular event click here for the info page, or here to see past press coverage. There are currently upcoming discos [both sold out] at the Hotel on March 15th and April 10th.

This is great!! I would be in hell at this, but that's why I've never procreated.

I love every single thing about this EXCEPT disco. Which I hate. Can we start Baby Hates Disco Because He/She Is Being Raised to Have Some Goddamn Taste?

But seriously, so many great baby-oriented activities on H Street. I'm proud to be a new parent here.

If you HATE Disco and your kid does too, you have to check out Rock N Tots!

Inked - thanks for clearing up the mystery; I was at Sova the other day and wondering where all the munchkins were coming from ... I'm happy that new events are bringing people to H Street during the day.

The fact that there's a babies-only show at the same place that books a sex workers art show and bands like F*ck Buttons and Holy F*ck is a very cool thing indeed.

I think they just raised the bar on Rock n Romp.

Just visited the BLD site and saw a third "show" -- May 4 -- at the R&R Hotel has been added -- tickets still available!

Excuse me. Can I borrow your daughter for a few hours? There are some hot moms going into the rock & roll hotel.

We were there for 90 minutes and felt like they hardly played any music at all. Too much time spent doing announcements for exhibitors and baby yoga. Could someone please turn up the music but turn down the damn mic? I am there to dance with my kid, not to listen to you promote vegetable vitamins.
