Looking to the Future

Science Magazine has a special focus this month on cities. The issue examines the impact of cities today, and looks at what might happen to cities in the future. One highlight is the article Upending the Traditional Farm.

Hmm, apparently you now have have a subscription to read the article, but I don't have one and I read it earlier today using this link, which now appears to want to make you subscribe. Odd, but read the article if you have a subscription.

Or get the full pdf.

I'd love to read the farm article, but the link says you have to be a member to read it. Oh well. Paolo Soleri has been talking about alot of this stuff for years. He has been building a visionary city in the Arizona desert for the last 30-40 years.

I read about the cities...did you get to "Upending the Traditional Farm" without registering? And how did you do it. Everything I clicked on sent me back to registering.

Nice. It did actually let me read it all without registering, but that may be because I read it at school.

nah, it's a reprint.

Thanks for the update, guys.

The one I originally read was not a reprint. It was on the science site and not a pdf.
