5d has been on scene above due to domestic offense.....one suspect in custody who has stabbed her boyfriend and his elderly mother...all three have been taken to hospital with two victims in critical condition

Yup, the scene was crawling w/ emergency vehicles today. Bummer to have something like that on Easter.
Also bummer to have triple stabbings two blocks away, but I guess that goes w/out saying.
Off topic but may be of interest...there is activity (dumpster, people talking) at the apt. building at the top of the 1300 block of Orren on the east side. I'm wondering if someone bought it and is getting ready to renovate.
I would not be surprise, because ever since the city changed the property tax code by charging empty properties a higher tax rates, people are fixing their house to avoid the higher tax rate.
