The brunch menu has changed slightly...they no longer do the build your own omelet. The food's great, though.

Broughts some friends from NW for dinner there last night. It was my first time there as well. The food was very tasty. The setting was very inviting. Wasn't a major issue, because we got the answers, but our server didn't know what certain items on the menu were, so he would have to go back in the kitchen and ask the chef. Overall great experience.

I've gone twice (dinner and brunch) and been very happy with both visits! The service was attentive and helpful. All of the food was delicious. The wine and martini lists are nice. I love the decor, especially Jorge's paintings!

I highly recommend the tastings on Wednesday evenings.

Ah forgot to mention- they had free Vodka tasting last night from 5-7. We missed it though as we got there after 7p.m. I take usually it is Free wine tasting during that time on Weds.

Off topic but I just noticed that the Sticky Rice website looks like it's being updated. It show's a menu now and mentions they'll be opening Spring of 08. Do you have any more info on the exact date??

So admitting to a crime in your past makes you a bad person? We better not vote for Obama...he smoked crack you know. Holy crap...was that racist?

Seriouly though please point to one concrete racist thing that Anwar was done (other than the looting, which was more juvenile than racist).

Where were people on this blog who love H street NE so much during the National Marathon? Anwar was the only one there hanging a banner for H street.

Does anyone know what happened at NAPA last night? We were there for dinner, and suddenly the place was loaded with police (counting those on the sidewalk just outside, about a dozen), and our server told us that the chef was inebriated. A police officer mentioned to a party at another table that there had been "a disagreement" between the owner and the chef.

Since at least a few of the police were sticking around and we had just ordered (and it looked like the commotion might make us late for our show), we canceled our meal, paid for our wine, and left.

But I would be interested to learn what the %$*%$ was going on.

And I assume there is a new chef in the cards?
