Mostly off topic: check out this cool new map from wikipedia. It lists the H Street area as "The Atlas District." It's fun to see neighborhoods I'd never heard of. (Lamond Riggs? Pleasant Plains?) But I don't think the folks living a block east of Lincoln Park would be happy being told they live in Kingman Park and not in Capitol Hill! Inked, feel free to make a separate post with this link if you like: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/93/DC_neighborhoods_map.png
Sorry for the bad link. You can find it by googling this:

The stuff on DC neighborhoods has been on Wikipedia for quite a while, and we've had discussions about the boundaries of some neighborhoods here before. But the incorporation of it all into a map is new, as is the re-naming of Near Northeast/Old City as "Atlas District" by whoever made the map. The text in the Wikipedia page(s) refers to Near Northeast.
As for Kingman Park, all these boundaries are a little fuzzy, but it should start two blocks east of Lincoln Park. And my understanding is that it's only the newcomers (particularly those who really cared about a Capitol Hill address and whose real estate agents told them they'd be moving to Capitol Hill) that might be upset. The long-time residents have had a sense of neighborhood identity that included not being part of Capitol Hill, just as many in Old City make very clear they're not part of Capitol Hill either.
Lets try this again.
Here is a quick write up of Brunch at Napa from the other week on my girlfriend's Personal Finance Blog. And yes, it was the best french toast I have ever had.

Chris M. Thanks for the great article! But these are also the people who lobbied strongly to keep the metro from putting a stop at Oklahoma Ave, north of RFK, which in retrospect, was not a wise decision. So now the metro just flies over Kingman Park, rather than letting its residents hop on board.
Off the subject-does anyone have any advice for someone who trying to find a house to rent in the Atlas Area? I've been on Craig's List, but I was wondering if there was a board on this blog where people shared rental listings?
