CHNNA Meeting May 17th

Announcement--

Reminder – Second Meeting of the CHNNA is May 17th

The second meeting of the prospective Capitol Hill North Neighborhood Association (CHNNA) will be held on May 17th from 10am – noon at Foster Auditorium in Gallaudet University. Visit the CHNNA Google Group for more information or send an email to CHNNA08@gmail.com if you have any questions.

The agenda for the upcoming meeting includes:

* A review of the results from the surveys that were handed out at the initial meeting
* Recommendations of the Boundary Committee and the Naming Committee
* A summary of the updated Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation
* A discussion of the elections process and the identification of potential nominees
* And more…

Sorry to Hi-jack post- but last week there was a discussion on here about the "Triangle of land" there at the intersection of Florida and West Virginia. The last I'd read is that it was voted on to make it a public space/park? But now this week I'm seeing couple for sale signs up on the property.

Any idea? I personally think it's to much of a high traffic area for a park, unless they build some barriers to protect from cars. Just ask Galluadette how many times they've had to fixed their fence from cars crashing there.
