Now that warm weather has returned it's the perfect time to check out the Argonaut's Doggie Happy Hour. The event is every Saturday from 1-6pm. During this time you and your canine friend can enjoy the Argonaut's patio and take advantage of the happy hour prices that are offered to all human patrons, not just dog owners. The Argonaut is located at 1433 H Street. The patio is around back on the Maryland Avenue side.

This made my day! Union Pub does one of these too, but I like the Argo so much better. I can't wait to go!
when i read the title, there was no way i was going to go, cuz i thought it was a happy hour for ugly broads.
but now i know it's a happy hour for flesh and blood pooper scoopers and their hounds.
i don't know which is worse!
And yes The Argonaut will now be opening at 1pm on Saturdays. We will be offering our pub fair menu for lunch from 1pm until 5pm. This does include the fish tacos!

can u please open up later than 1 p.m. on saturdays? say, like, 4:30?
i'm usually so hung over on saturday, that i don't get up until about 3:45.
if you open at one, all the fish tacos will be gone by the time i get there, and that's just not the american way!
please don't put the ARGH!! into argonaut for us hardworking folks.

Congrats on opening at 1 on Saturdays. There's a real shortage of decentplaces to eat Saturday lunch, so this is much appreciated.
Well it apparently opens at 2:00, not 1:00, but still nice to have it open in the afternoon.
I would like to apologize to anyone who came by at 1pm last Saturday to find we weren't open. We will definitely be open from now on at 1pm.
