Fantastic! Nice to see they keep responding to customer suggestions. This place continues to improve.

Duke (the owner) is very open to your feedback and is doing what it takes to be successful.

I've heard outdoor seating may be coming too.

I kind of like the fact that lettuce & tomato is priced separately. I never use either, so why waste the food (especially at today's prices)? Additionally, and it's nice to not have to pay for something I'm not going to eat anyway.

When I was there a couple of weeks ago they were talking about putting another door on the 5th St side so that they could take advantage of the wide 5th Street sidewalk for outdoor seating.

They already have approval to have outdoor seating. In a matter of time it will happen.

Next step is a aturday morning Jazz n' Brunch.

Fastest way to get them to expand to the outdoor seating is to fill the place to the gills each night.

I'm sure it would be hard to justify sinking the money into putting in a door and equipping the outdoor area if Pap & Petey's isn't yet at capacity on a regular basis. Of course, the outdoor seating would be an additional attraction, but would it be strong enough to fill inside & out to a decent degree?

I do know that their liquor license permits them to serve outside in that area, but they will have to get a public space permit in addition (which shouldn't be too difficult).

Pap and Petey's is rapidly becoming my favorite bar. Duke, the staff, and the music are great.

I had the tomato stuffed with tuna Fri nite and it was really good. Nice presentation, too. It was actually my first visit and I'm looking fwd to going back.

If you've not checked the place out yet or if you have (but just not on a Wed night) I strongly suggest stopping by this Wed night and checking out the acoustic jazz trio, ZEEBOP. They are really good and demonstrate the fine acoustics of the joint.

Dig it, P&P swings on Wednesday for sure. I love the beverage specials. Tunes are good also. Duke knows what he's doing.
