Finally! The neighborhood will be healed, and there will be no more crime! What took so long?

Actually, gatherings like this can be effective, if something happens AFTER the gathering- especially since events like this are apt to being out the people most effected. But coming together under a big tent to be "healed" rarely does anything about crime or sickness.

I am a member of the Protestant church but will say this: religious intervention ain't gonna do shit to fix Trinidad. Rather than gathering under a tent with Diet Coke and Utz potato chips, Thomas should be handing out dustpans, brooms, and paintbrushes to go cleanup the neighbourhood. And I'm certain those professional counselors aren't doing pro bono work...

Ummmm...what/who exactly are we healing?

I confess that I really don't get this. Seriously, what HAPPENS at this sort of thing?

Y'all don't get it do you? We're holding a healing session for Councilmember Thomas's re-election campaign, which is currently in dire shape.

He won't be getting my votes this time around.

Are they helping the families heal? If so I think it was a waste. These families couldnt even parent their children to know right from wrong, good from bad and service from crime.
