Food Network's Iron Chef Bobby Flay Challenges Teddy Folkman, Chef/Owner of Granville Moore's Gastropub in Washington DC, to a Moules and Frites Throwdown. Will Chef Teddy's Moules Fromage Bleu and Herbed Frites be enough to defeat Chef Flay's Roasted Poblano and Coconut Moules with Traditional Belgian Frites? Tune in and find out.

If you are in the DC area and want to check out where it all went down, Granville Moore's will be going "high-tech" for one night and renting some flat screen TV's and showing the Throwdown. Bar opens at 5:00pm. Kitchen opens at 5:30pm.

Finally! Too bad it conflicts with the Washingtonian Magazine "Best of..." party.
They usually re-run the Throwdowns on Saturday afternoons, in case you miss the first run. Maybe we can convince Teddy and Pat to extend the rental and open early that Saturday for those who can't make it on Tuesday night?
hillman is making video tape of this event as part of porno movie he is making.
you can see it at his nightclub, in his house, but have to watching nasty "throw downs" of sweaty people making nasty noises to see the chefs slapping clams around.
