Off topic but is the H Street Festival happening this year? If som is it 9/20?
Fantastic photo. Interesting to see the garbage in the street in 1925. The more things change....
Biggest mistake was getting rid of those trolly tracks. That, and kicking out the Irish. They could SO use a decent pub.
Interesting that there appear to be plenty of people still living on H street then.Also, none of the houses appear to have been painted. Does anyone know when people started painting their rowhouses?
