Does anyone have their hours of operation? I'm glad to hear that they are open, but I'd like to know if they are maintaining hours like the other establishments in the vicinity.

There goes my diet. The hours are 11:00 a.m. to 10 p.m.

11a-10p? Really? 7 days? Holy crap! I'm in trouble.

YIPPEE!!! We will walk there from our place, and then walk back to help digest and utilize some calories.

Car-haters, please don't hate on me, but is there even a remote chance of parking at this Five Guys?

Hillman, I got on here to ask the exact same question. Is parking an option? I'm close, but won't be close enough to walk. Do they have a drive thru?

Hillman said...

Probably no on the drive-thru, as the burgers are made to order, with an expected wait for each order, so a drive thru concept doesn't work for them.

No drive-through, but until all of the big buildings there have residential and office tenants, it's easy to park, especially in the evenings before the clubs open up there.

Plenty of bike parking, hillman. In fact, I'm on my way to eat burger there now via my two-wheeled companion.

Please try to avoid looking at the 'Nutritional Information' on their web site. It's too depressing. But it may make you bike or walk there instead of driving, to reduce the damage.

lol @ car haters

how about 'would like to have an inhabitable planet lovers'?

it would be a bit of a hike from my place to five guys, but think of it as a scenic stroll, eh? perhaps not for those intending to run out at 9:45 for burger though. i guess it is getting dark quite early this time of year though. wouldn't want to see a burger stroll go wrong, so maybe the driving idea isn't so thrown off after all.

Stopped by there on Saturday afternoon (and yes I drove - it was raining) and had no trouble parking. The place is still getting their act together ... some of teh supplies hadn't coem in yet. And unfortunately, some of the counter people had the "8th/O St Giant attitude" of not wanting to be bothered with helping the customers. /TruxtonResident

Did anyone else notice how slick the floor was on Friday night? Almost as if they had used a poor tile or tile coating on it.

Anonymous said...

Yes, I noticed that as well when I was there on Saturday. I did call the Corporate office yesterday to complain about the slick floor and the lack of customer service by the counter people (as compared to other Five Guys locations)/TruxtonResident

Seems like they used the wrong tile. I'm sure floor replacement will be costly, but probably not as high as a lawsuit. Maybe it was because of all the moisture in the air on this past Fri. & Sat.?
