H Street NE- Where Dreams Come True

I'm finally posting this recently released promotional material from the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. You may have already seen it because someone left a link in the comments, but if you haven't taken a look you should. I'm very impressed. I think this think has a lot more style and greater kick than some of the other stuff I've seen the District spit out promoting H.

It's a shame that Stella Bleu closed between the writing and the publication of this.

And it's really interesting that WillPower didn't even get a mention, despite only having closed a few weeks ago...

"someone" posted it? you mean me. hee-hee. :-)

this was a pretty smooth piece of marketing. what does everyone else think? strong points? points you might suggest for a future volume?

anyone know who is getting these pamphlets? hopefully business groups? and maybe the convention center to encourage convention-goers to come down here for a few drinks and a play? :-)

Thank God the city is moving on this. I was starting to think that all the plans to promote H Street development were never going to see the light of day. I particularly like the fact that they mention the surrounding neighborhoods of H Street, hopefully spreading the wealth and development to the whole area.

Wow -- this looks great!

I am hopeful this all comes together.

In the meantime, I had no idea we had a tattoo parlor on H Street. I was just about to use one on U Street, but would rather support local business.

Who would have ever guess when we bought our house about 8 years ago, H St would make such a turn around.
Congrats to Inked for passing the bar..

re: tattoo

Paul at British Ink is great! I got a sleeve done earlier this year. He's very professional and everything is custom.

Does anyone else find it disturbing that there's no mention of the trolley? Or am I missing something?

I didnt see any timelines on when the majority of the work will be done on H Street. Am I missing that?
