Re: Fritatta
Where's the duck?
Duck? It doesn't mention duck in the fritatta...
Does anyone know if they take reservations?
home of the four dollar sausage.
An earlier GM brunch menu included the same firtatta w/ duck confit.
What are/were '“Mohawk” Biscuits'
I Googled it and didn't find anything.
I even went to the Mohawk (Kanien'kehake) Nation Council of Chiefs website and still didn't find anything about biscuits.
Kanien'kehake biscuits didn't pull anything up either.
Gen.Mgr. from Granville is a Mohawk Indian from Upstate New York. These are a form of cornbread made in many Native American kitchens
Thanks for the information. I just wasn't clear what it was. I was introduced to some of the food traditions of the some of the other Iroquois Confederacy nations (Onondaga and Seneca) while in College in up state NY. I didn't remembmer the terms Mohawk Biscuit. So I looked for it, wasn't sure it it was a brand like Oneida flat ware or something.
How is it different, is it a soda based bread or it is very dense almost scone like. I am familar with the latter where it's dense.

The 'mohawk' biscuit is deep fried and has a donutty texture. So I'm told by someone who has ate it.
The Champignon Frittata was not on the menu when I was there Sunday (the 4th). They had the duck one on the menu and while it was good, I was looking forward to the Champingnon. Would love more vegetarian options at G.M.'s brunch. Also, milk/cream with the coffee instead of heavy whipping cream. Oh and a sugar substitute instead of white sugar. Sorry if I seem picky or demanding!
Cool thanks for the description. I think I've had something similar. Different name.
Thanks again,
-Robby
