This sounds good.
wow.
that sounds good.
btw, came home tonight and saw some dude (looked like a drunkard) taking a pee on pap and petey's front door. the dude could barely stand up. tried the handles on the front door and continued down the street trying to open up doors on the bldgs adjacent.
i was on my bike and tried to confront the guy, but when i was able to turn around, he wasn't around.
not cool.
Yeah, sorry about that. They removed the port-a-pots that the construction workers have been using.
You know, when nature calls...
Please don't post under other people's names.
Too bad there's no vegetarian option at Langston. Guess they've decided who their customers are.

All vegetables at Langston Bar & Grille are meat and meat product free (vegetable Stock used). Vegan quality.
Ugh... I hate places that advertized "wild mushroom" in their menu. We know for a fact that their chef/cook did not go out in the wild and collect them. And we know that whomever they bought it from did not go and gather it in the wild. They all look like cheapo sliced white button mushroom when cooked to me. I swear those are not oyster, king, hencock, chanterelles. The last one sells for 300bucks/pound if truely wild.
Annoyed Diner.
the menue sounds very i will be stoping by i hear the new chef is very good
We will be using wild mushrooms; the varieties will be Oyster and Shiitake mushrooms. We will be shopping at Florida, Ave Farmers Market two days prior. Enjoy. Peace.
Chef Harry
Shopping at the Florida market, is considered "gather it in the wild" by those used to getting their food delivered by Sysco. I'm pretty sure that the Oyster and Shiitake mushrooms are farmed raised(as is most of the mushrooms listed by the annoyed diner), and that's ok... they are all very tasty.
From Silvertiger:
Went to Langston's for the first time tonight. Really nice, intimate setting (sat upstairs) and delicious food. Ox tails were the best in a long time; sides, including braised cabbage and 'fat fries' were great (my guest had that). I had meatloaf, sweet potatoes (a bit 'too' sweet for me, but otherise good; and great collard greens. Service was very nice, sweet woman; and we waited a bit because the food was being prepared, not microwaved. I've been to others on the H Street strip and Langston's is among the best in the area (I'm not a big drinker, so a $14 dollar martini is not 'my thing'...though my guest's margarita was very good. Small place, interesting artwork, relaxed and sophisticated. I'm going to go back for a pulled pork sandwich and a beer some night; or to try the brunch.
Do try it...
