Anon 3:07, I haven't been doing this much lately, but sometimes I just like to post different street photos from the area. I just figured that I would post the three together because they all feature the same building. No particular other significance. I just kind of like the look of the building. There was a crew working on it at the time. This is more in the northern portion of Trinidad, immediately to the west of Bladensburg Road.
Nice to see more of the upper North East section of Trinidad depicted, however not all of the houses there look like that. There are well kept properties there. That House has been vacant for years. I almost purchased at house up the street at 16th and Raum.
If any one is interested lets take more pictures of the upper half of Trinidad. There are some real jewels.
Very true Robby. Something about the state of this house attracted me. I kind of like shooting ruins. But there are tons of nice places up that way. For a little more context: I was accompanying my friend, Thalia (a college student who runs a dog walking business [we work together on Garden club stuff]) on a walk with Bear. He's a well-tempered rot with cancer. We were surprised that the crew was working on that building (it appears to be an old wood frame), and thought we'd take a few shots. But Robby is very right that this building isn't indicative of the area. Maybe I need to take more photos and post more archive shots. You wouldn't believe some of the old stuff on H.
Not exactly related, but please consider taking part in Earth Hour. We just had a very successful one in Wellington (8:30 PM on Saturday March 28). See you gusy this July. Lights out!

To quote a certain Spike Lee film- "It's ghetto fabulous!"
