Stunning. I love this place.

On a related note, does anyone know what happened with their plans to expand upstairs?

There is beauty in honesty and I love drinking at the Pug though I must confess that I only eat there when there is a desperate need for food to soak up booze.

I love the contrast in the menu items:

left side: me
right side: my girlfriend

this menu looks gross, microwaved food and george forman grilled sandwiches. Come on we can do better than this on H st.

Oh geez anonymous 6:06. The Pug is a bar, not a restaurant. If you don't want cheeseballs then go to Granville's next door and come back later for a drink.

Anon 6:06pm -- have you EVER been inside the Pug? It's a bar, not a restaurant; and it's tiny. There is no kitchen. What you see on that menu is what the bartenders can do with a few square inches here and there behind the bar. They have the microwaved food and George Foreman-grilled sandwiches because regular patrons asked for something other than cheese balls, which is all they had originally.

I think that they should add tunafish salad and potato chip sandwiches.

Is the soup Campbell's or Healthy Choice?

I give them props for being honest as to how it's going to be made and doing it more out of convenience for their patrons rather than to squeeze out a profit.

I'd have to go with Gabe on this one. The Pug is a bar. They have no kitchen. I'm glad they serve food at all.

But here's the real question: now that hangover hash is on the regular menu, does that mean they've done away with the sunday hangover brunch?! I still can't belive how many mimosas they let you drink for a $10 flat fee . . .

Don't worry, we still offer the hash, chili, and french bread casserole for five dollars a serving during sundays brunch form 12:30 on. If the food is too "gross" we still also have the bottomless ten dollar mimosas during sunday brunch. thanks for your continued drinking and support.

If you had been there, we expect some nice images of the food served. That surely keeps me pushing into the dining.

Excellent menu, it is perfect to eat something really good and delicious because I'm so sick to eat all time the same thing.
