Frozen Tropics on Kojo Monday

Catch me on Monday's Kojo Nnamdi show. He's doing a segment on hyperlocal bloggers and I'll be one of the guests. 88.5 FM WAMU at 12:00pm.

Congrats, Inked. This is great.

If you have the opportunity, try to plug the need to get the streetcar/overhead wire issue resolved.

And if you're feeling bold, call for it to connect with the K Street Transitway, using stimulus bill money.

It's time to be bold here.

Who knows, we might make you mayor.

This is only my second post on your blog but I wanted to thank you for your service to our community. I check this site nearly every day and can't imagine how we would get this information without your efforts. Great job!!! Good luck with Kojo.

Good Luck with the show. Kojo is getting a winner. I agree with the previous sentiment...

Anon: 2:06 - When I went to the OP meeting about the streetcars sometime ago, they mentioned the plan was to connect it to K Street. Let's hope they still are.

Inked - that is great news. Good for you. I am sure that time is limited and nearly structured (I did a brief radio interview a couple of times) Mention as much as you can of the major issues that we are all concerned about.

I'll have to see where the discussion leads. You've got 4 bloggers from other neighborhoods there at the same time. The focus is supposed to be on how hyper-local bloggers are filling, or not filling, the print media gap, so I suspect we'll be talking about that.

Inked the show was way cool. Thanks for represent'n. The power of this media is not to be taken lightly, FT truly emphasizes that all politics are local.
