A look at what's going on in Trinidad, on H Street, and in the larger area north of Capitol Hill.
Thanks for the information. When will this project start ?
god i hope nothing goes through. if they change anything, where are people going to get drugs and prostitutes??????i say keep the ugly fucker as it is. if you want to screw up a decent neighborhood, finance some paint jobs in ivy city.all the wonderful destinations in this city get screwed up. i'm moving to anacostia or benning road across the river.sheesh...
too late, Poo Poo !!! Anacostia has gotten some new buildings and it getting renovated and cleaned up too. However, I doubt that it will ever be as sterile as the Florida market will be.
An idea on the time frame to completion or completion of phases?
My reading of this is that it's nothing more than an advisory document -- a study saying "if someone does some development on this land, here are some things for them to think about" -- and doesn't carry any legal force or binding authority of any kind. Do I have this right?
Chris that is correct. It can be made binding if adopted by the Council. Unless, and until it is adopted by the Council it is merely an advisory document.
