Anon 7:12, I know you are probably kidding, but the X2 is not scary. I've been riding it every day for a year at all hours of the day and night and have never had a problem. The problem with the X2 is the overcrowding, lack of an express option, etc.
i co-sign the lack of scariness of the x2. it gets very overcrowded during rush hour and sometimes you get a crazy guy talking loudly to himself, but this is typical big city stuff. worst i've seen in six years is a fight break out between two teenagers. nothing you couldn't see walking around the neighborhood.
i submitted a paper survey to complain about the overcrowding. clearly it's a popular line, they should have loads of x2's during rush hour. it always feels like they only have four running in the whole city at any given time. LOL.
I agree with esingles and soul searcher. The problem with the X2 is the overcrowding. Although I may not want to invite some of the people who ride the X2 to dinner, they don't seem scary to me.
Express buses would be great! The over crowding is a real problem. I can see the bus stop from my living room-- but I don't use it for commuting because 1) it takes too long with all the stops and 2) it's nt reliable. I have stood out there and had to wait for 2, 3 or 4 buses before you get one that isn't so crowded that they can take more passengers. I don't understand why this particular line is so poorly managed. Another problem-- there will be no bus for like 10 - 15 minutes and then there are 2 buses following eachother. That's just dumb.

The link does not work.
Just like the X2! Can't even get a survey about it to work right either.
Yeah, here's the corrected link:
