Sounds like a smart young man who had a lot of potential but made the wrong choices in life. We can't get Trey back and we're still waiting for the results of the FBI investigation, but my feeling is one thing we could do right now is to work to change the environment in the neighborhood so that there are fewer opportunities to make choices that involve drugs and violence and more opportunities to choose constructive and educational activities.
