The Post is reporting that two suspects believed to be responsible for a string of burglaries in the area were arrested yesterday after breaking into a home in the 1200 block of Florida Avenue NE.
Curmudgeon - thanks for the link! That's great news. I called the cops on a couple kids a couple weeks ago who were hanging out in the alley behind the 1200 block of Florida during the day and going into people's yards and garages. I never saw any cops show up, so good to know they actually were on top of it. I wonder if those were the same kids.
my neighbor chased off a couple of kids about a week ago- in the alley between Oates and Owen. He also told me that if anything is stolen, I should check at the flea market at 9 and Florida NW- apparently thats a good place to see your loot.
Guys, please be polite. Remember that these people are your neighbors. I ask also that anonymous users leave some kind of tag [e.g. big green cat] for the sake of being able to follow a thread. Be respectful and have fun.
As it should be! The good times roll again!
