CAPITAL CITY SYMPHONY 2009-2010 Season

Washington, D.C. -- The Capital City Symphony is once again offering two performances of its popular Family Concert, Sunday November 22 at 2:30pm and 4:30pm. Each performance is preceded by an instrument petting zoo, with members of the orchestra displaying their instruments and even letting the children try them! The concert itself includes a special program book just for the younger set and lots of audience interaction.

This year's Family Concert is all about "What's in an Orchestra, Anyway?" Maestro Victoria Gau will take the audience on a musical tour of the orchestra, featuring works by Shostakovich, Copland, Britten, Bernstein, and more.

Tickets for Children 16 and under are FREE for all Capital City Symphony concerts!
This concert is recommended for children ages 3 and up (or able to sit through an hour-long program).
