I walked by DDP on Sunday and saw that they had workmen working on the interior. It looked like they were installing display cases and counter-tops.
I hope they open before Thanksgiving as well. Thanksgiving is prime pie buying time and I would love to head over there and pick up a pumpkin pie or apple cobbler for the holiday!

Soul Searcher, sorry. I was preoccupied, and exhausted. I did try a piece of something with eggs and bacon. It was very tasty. I'm not a huge fan of sweets, but I like a savory pie.

ReplyDeleteAccording to the owner at the H Street Festival, they hoped to be open prior to Thanksgiving. Not sure if they're still on track though.
