illicit? why?

I love the phrase "illicit funeral home." It's like "rogue archeologist."

Do they traffik in stolen body parts or do they rent corpses by the hour for immoral purposes?

no license to practice. probably just like the other funeral homes just off H and a majority of the crappy churches that exist in what would normally be single family homes.

When is dangerously Delicious pies set to open?

According to the owner at the H Street Festival, they hoped to be open prior to Thanksgiving. Not sure if they're still on track though.

I walked by DDP on Sunday and saw that they had workmen working on the interior. It looked like they were installing display cases and counter-tops.

I hope they open before Thanksgiving as well. Thanksgiving is prime pie buying time and I would love to head over there and pick up a pumpkin pie or apple cobbler for the holiday!

at Gallery O on H

had pie at the gallery o opening

saw inked walking out, said hi, and she walked right past/around me. kind of hard to imagine how she couldn't have heard me, but maybe she was preoccuPIEd with thoughts of the delicious treat she had just had

or maybe not, depending on which pie she had... the chocolate pie i had was terrible. crust tasted like it was made of cardboard

however, the chicken pot pie was to die for.

choose your pie wisely, jedis

Soul Searcher,
sorry. I was preoccupied, and exhausted. I did try a piece of something with eggs and bacon. It was very tasty. I'm not a huge fan of sweets, but I like a savory pie.
