Do we have to start over on the $1 off drinks for every 6" of snow or can we add the new snow to the old snow and get really "plowed?"

Anyway, heading to H Street sounds like a good idea.

There's a police car stuck on my street because someone decided to clean the snow off of their car, and dump it in the middle of the road. The road is plowed, but still about 8 inches of packed snow base. Why the compulsion to clean off your ride?

For those that have to work today (like me) and need the X2, note that some of the X2s are going to Union Station and some are going the normal route. A lot of people were pissed when the bus all of a sudden turned left at North Capitol and went up towards Union Station. I had to walk back to H and get a trailing X2 that was doing the normal route. Also, there was the usual X2 fun with buses passing by without stopping even though there was lots of room in the back of the bus. Once I got to McPherson Square I had no problems with Metro, but getting home will be interesting!

yea, stay away from the x2 today. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to how the buses are running. Empty buses pass you by, full-capacity buses pass you by. Some buses are going to union station, some are going all the way down Lafayette Square. Plus the traffic on H st. was at a crawl this morning. So if you are lucky enough to get on a bus, you'll be moving at a snails pace down H. much more efficient to just walk to union station.

This snow has crippled the city. Check out this video about how locals handled the blizzard!
