Is Whiskey's grill ever open for the patrons to use? Sort of like a BYO_.

Yum. Little Miss can't be wrong!

No-Doze,
I'm thinking no. Selling people alcohol and giving them access to fire sounds like a bad combo.

Also, they have food during hours that the kithen is open. I don't know of anyplace that sells food but gives you the option to bring you own and cook it there instead of ordering off the menu.

I think you're right Inked. I've heard the BYOMeat bars are popular in NYC, but it might very well be illegal in DC.

No-Doze,
I didn't know it was a big thing in NYC. I'm aware of a steak house in Iowa that lets you grill your own steak, but you have to buy it from them, and it isn't a bar.

Yup, check it out on city search:

it makes more sense in NY since fewer people have space for a grill. still, would be cool in our neighborhood.

I'm pretty sure that it's illegal for Whiskey to grill outside. The Ohio had a visit from DCRA for a outside grill.
