i'm a bit curious if anyone knows the fate of the x2 in this plan. i've been assuming that the street car will ultimately replace the x2. is that even the case? what happens when the streetcar terminates at 3rd NE, or even union station. the bulk of ridership for the x2 is between downtown and NE. will riders have to get off and transfer to the streetcar to finish their commute? this is one of the most popular lines in the city, so a lot of people will be affected.
where the heck did you hear that? i've never heard anyone suggest the X2 would go away. besides, the streetcars, at least in the initial phases, won't come close to the passenger capacity that the x2 route provides.
Guys, please be polite. Remember that these people are your neighbors. I ask also that anonymous users leave some kind of tag [e.g. big green cat] for the sake of being able to follow a thread. Be respectful and have fun.
