because they'll probably be closed. this place changes their hours every day and they dont even stick to that.

is there a place to wager on an over/under of 3 times i go there before 9pm on weeknight in the middle of summer and they are not open?

i like the place, but it is never open.

Well dave if they are closed I'll move on, that's the fun of a day off, I don't really have anything to do. If they're open cool if not eh.

I had the same problem with this place. Loved the shaved ice and such, but quit trying to go because I never knew when they'd be open.

To me, not keeping regular hours is the best way to tell customers you just don't give a damn about them and couldn't care less if they've made special plans to come to your store or not, and that your time is clearly far more valuable than theirs.

This is a huge pet peeve of mine. This whole 'we may or may not actually keep to posted hours' thing isn't some sort of charming retro thing. It's annoying and tells me you don't give a darn about me as a customer.

I have a similar story. Showed up at 8:15 when their hours were posted as open til 9. They were actually there for once, but the girl working there actually yelled at me when I ordered 2 cheesesteaks because they decided they were closing in 10 minutes.

Haven't been back since. Great food but some of the most miserable people I've ever met. Vote with your feet and go to Rita's.

yep. They should be like Liberty Tree and not post their hours anywhere. What a bunch of spoiled whiny babies.

It's not whining when you're talking about a business that posts hours and then blatantly doesn't follow them. It's calling bullshit when you see it.

nah,it's BS when you use one visit (or less I suspect in some cases)to trash someone's business. These businesses are trying really hard to please you, yet you expect 100% perfection. Are you ALWAYS on your A game???

i probably went successfully to PWI 4-6 times last year. I've been there when they werent open (but we supposed to be) at least twice. Then there was also the time I tried to order a hot dog and blew the worker's mind. He told me he needed to call his supervisor for instructions.

If PWI is successful with this method of operation, good for them. I'm not swearing them off, but maybe sometimes I'll walk a block to the corner store instead of 5 blocks to PWI because who knows what you are going to get when you show up there.

However, if PWI is losing money and would like to fix the situation, they can read things that myself and others have posted here.

They could probably also make their ordering window bigger so it is not like a crackhouse with some random arm sticking out a hole and giving me my order.

Again, if this works for them, great. If they want some advice, it's there for you.
