DCmud: Townhouses Down at Dreyfus Project
If you've been in the vicinity of second and G recently you've probably noticed that the stretch of previously fenced off rowhouses have now come totally down. As we previously discussed, this is in preparation for Dreyfus' Capitol Place development. But DCmud cites unconfirmed reports that the immediate future of the formerly occupied spaces will be a surface parking lot. For info and photos at DCmud.

It makes sense to have a surface lot there until financing can be achieved and the economy improves. I have the understanding that there are some other issues that still need to be resolved.
