POP: Chow

Prince of Petworth mentions Chow, the restaurant that seeks to open at 1110 H Street. As I mentioned before, this space was originally slated to be a sandwich shop called Subterranean. Chow will be an Asian restaurant, and it comes from the owners of Jin (an Asian Caribbean Soul Lounge14th Street).

Somewhat off topic and probably should be asked of Prince of Petworth...He rumored about a year ago that Taqueria Distrito Federal was looking at H St. Anybody hear anything more on that? That place is awesome. I went there on Sat for the first time in almost a year (I dont venture much farther than Gallery Place). It is amazing and an amazing deal. Something like $13 for 5 tacos, a soda (Mexican Coke is the best), and dessert.

I've eaten a lot of tacos off taco trucks and holes in the wall in Arizona (I figure that would be kind of a taco Mecca) and TDF is just as good.
